January weekly happenings

This was a rain boot week.
This week consisted of a visit to Roll Up Cafe. Go there are get a Nutella shake...wear stretchy pants for eating.
Finally finished organizing. I have moved 9 times in two years...I had some serious organizing to do.
Bentley helped me organize. He is a cutie.
Started some apartment improvements.
Jacqueline and I wrote predictions one year ago for eavhother. According to my predictions I would be dating a BYU football player right now and be so fit. Hmmmm...
Ski class was awesome!

Field trip to Salt Lake
Above are three houses I think are so charming. In the words of Megan Trainor... "Dear Future Husband I would love any of the above ⬆️".
The lady running the cute inn gave us some drinks. Oh yes that made the field trip complete.
Met Mom, Kim, and Glenda at Cheesecake Factory. Then completely emptied out the coat section at Forever 21. The employees probably thought I was preparing for a trip to Alaska. Nope,  I wish.
Went to Osaka on Center Street in Provo. Some yummy Japanese food.
Did not try this.

Tried this.

After went to see Taken 3 then Hali and I started some apartment improvements.

I feel that we should be an advertisement for Command Hooks.

My 8th "first week of BYU"

Well by now I should have the first week of school down to a science. I don't. I still get worried something will go wrong. I panic that I will finally get all my books stand in line and then realize I'm missing one, or I'll walk in the wrong class (true story), or that I'll sleep in a little too late. My classes are great and basically consist of the final bits of information before we become real teachers. Exciting! As of 20 minutes ago I paid for my teaching license and submitted my application. School teacher here I come. Much more exciting than teaching my stuffed animals when I was little. I did get lots of practice.

Sundance please get some fresh snow! Too icy but still a blast!
Saw Elder VanCleave! He leaves for Japan Monday and spoke Japanese to us!
The temple is so beautiful and I am so happy I live so close.

Basketball game #1 against Pepperdine. Sad loss
Basketball game #2 against Loyola Marymount. Happy win

Kyle Van Noy BYU player now plays for the Detroit Lions now

Proposal trumps Bachelor

Of course with the start of the new year many exciting things are happening. School being one of them. Break went by way too fast so to try to ease the "pain" of the first day of school my friends and I decided to do a Bachelor night. But before I write about that I need to share the exciting news! My SISTER is engaged! I am so glad one productive event happened today, far more productive than watching Bachelor and missing my first two classes because of scheduling errors. Yes, little bunny is engaged. She got engaged to the most perfect guy. This doesn't surprise me because she is PERFECT to me. Here are some posts from the proposal. He took her up behind his house in Mapleton (where they had their first date) and popped the question! She of course said yes and then gave my mom a call. I was upstairs preparing for the Bachelor and heard excitement from my mom downstairs. I ran down and was thrilled to see mom give the nod and smile like yes he proposed! They came over during the Bachelor and even though Chris (The Bachelor) is quite stunning himself, Emily and Cody got my attention and are far more stunning. I loved seeing them so happy and hearing the details.

Bachelor night with the girlfriends was good. Thanks to my mom for helping me set it up. She is great and my love for parties comes straight from her.  I have some amazing friends who I love being able to see! I love planning little parties and a big reason is so I can see my wonderful friends. Not to be dramatic but I MUST watch Bachelor with friends so I have a built in support group when the drama unfolds during the show. Thank you girls for being there so I'm not alone rolling my eyes. I don't know if it is the built in support group or the pile of Hershey kisses that eases the drama of the show. Either way  friends are an excuse to buy two bags of Hershey kisses to eat during the show,  works for me! Tonight was my first time seeing Lauren since her 18 month mission. Enjoyed seeing her and can not wait to catch up. Also good to see some girls I work with, past roommates, friends from CA and London girls.

Shirley's bakery you did well. Props to you for putting red roses on these. Someone was aware it was the Bachelor season premier without even being reminded.

This is the only photo from the night of my friends. Chris was on the screen I was distracted. My sincere apologies...I will try to remember next time to take more photos of my cute friends.
